Liam is a graduate of the Irish Hypnotherapy Association, Ireland's leading training institute for clinical hypnotherapists. The IHA is currently pioneering the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy together with Hypnosis, combining and enhancing the effectiveness of both. This style of clinical hypnotherapy is know as CBH or Cognitive Behavioural Hypnosis. Liam is particularly interested in the use of of CBH for behaviour modification, anxiety, phobias, panic disorders, pain relief and regression therapy.

Liam qualified in the practice of Tuina Massage with Dr. Fanyi Meng, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) programme director with the University of Lincoln, Lincoln, UK. Liam has practiced yoga since his early teens and had his first teaching experience in the early nineties. He is a qualified instructor of Sampoorna Hatha Yoga, recognised by both the American Yoga Alliance and the German BYVL (Bund der Yoga  Vidya Lehrer). He teaches group Hatha and Ashtanga Viniyasa style classes and one to one personal training sessions. His inspiration comes from various teachers at home and abroad, including Yogi Hari, Anthony Kearney and Jean Philippe Capiaux to mention a few. He is an independent teacher, preferring to teach in a free, traditional style, adjusting to the needs and capacities of students rather than following a modern mainstream style.

Liam is also a qualifed Pilates Matwork instructor and teaches classes in Gorey, Arklow and Dublin. He obtained his Pilates qualifications through the Irish Pilates Institute.

Liam has obtained level I and level II Reiki initiation with two very remarkable teachers. He obtained his level I Reiki initiation with Johan Pourbaix in 2004. This caused a radical change in his lifestyle and overall well-being. In August 2008 he obtained his Reiki level II initiation with Mary Anderson. He has been practicing professionally and growing in maturity as a practitioner since then. Currently he practices a pure style of simple, highly effective Usui Reiki.
